- In a fit of silliness, I replaced my ESC key with a emergency-emergency-do-not-panic-we-have-e
verything-under-control-red PANIC key. This took a small dose of That-Doesn't-Go-There! mechanical aptitude and a pair of wire cutters applied to the now-defunct ESC key. I like it. - My landlady is moving at the end of September, and when that happens, I shall lose my place to live. This, in theory, isn't a major problem, except that my advisor keeps asking me to write more papers, and I suspect this will delay my graduation. So I'll have to move somewhere temporary for my last month or two at SFU.
- The explosives on Canada Day kinda sucked, because Erin and I went to the closest possible set of fireworks due to time constraints, but July 4th was just fine. I like explosives.
- On a sadder note, it appears I've been downloading too much. The cable company is threatening to shoot us and take our children if we don't cut our monthly bandwith from the usual 40GB down to a mere 20GB. So much for downloading anime. I've installed some monitoring software on my computer, and it turns out I can see how much our modem is downloading, so I'll be able to blame myself or Hesam in the future. Personally, I think it's me. +)
- This isn't much of a gaming journal, but I'd just like to mention in passing that there are two campaigns running (the second started when the first started losing steam), and we are now 2 for 2 in unleashing an unspeakable horror on an unsuspecting universe. Except that this second one was fairly speakable. I consider this a major achievement, since the first campaign was high fantasy, and the second is sci-fi.

That's awesome! I would love a red panic button on my keyboard... you should seriously market the mods.
